Havent done anything for myself for a while so did this quickie last night. Im a huge Wolverine fan (hate the movie though) as you can tell.It was supposed to be a doodle/drill/practice thing (as you can see by the sketchiness and inaccurate Xforce costume, etc) but liked how it was going so decided to spend a lil bit more time on it.
No references as usual. Couple of hours. Pshop with Graphire. Wolverine OBVIOUSLY belongs to Marvel.

Yeah, Joe Q issued a strict "no smoking" edict on Marvel characters. Gambit, Wolverine, Nick Fury...they're all wearing Nicorette patches under their uniforms, lol.

What is he 5? he allows blood, flying heads and limbs, sexual connotations but strictly no smoking? Man.... there are a lot of great stuff in MArvel since he became editor but his personal projects are kinda stupid at times

I totally agree. I love his pencils, and he's done a lot of great things for Marvel, but the way he uses the Marvel characters to push his opinions and politics kinda makes me gag. Both the characters and the readers deserve more respect than that, I think.

no doubt! i still consider him one of my fave artists as he brought some of the best art in Xfactor and Daredevil but as an editor/writer? if he was one of the guys who came up Brand New Day, i have no respect at all.

I always preferred this sketchy style a lot more than the clean polished look, especially when drawing males. It just adds grittiness and character.
