Val: nyeh.. nyeh... nyeh... i got the bad guy... i got the bad guy
PC: Sigh.... please let villains come
Pinup Girl: Grrrrrrrr...........
This one was commissioned by portraying her superhero family comprised of PC, Pinup girl, Val and Jake.
She wanted me do a scenario where the two kids are fighting/arguing with the parents at their side. This is what i came up with.
She wanted a cartoony piece that showed humor. I was so happy coz i thought it was gonna be easy! Hell no! The details on the costumes took a whole lot of time to do! But im pretty happy with the results.
Take note.. characters in foreground have darker and thicker outlines while ones at the back have lighter or thinner outlines.
No references as usual. Enjoy!

Talking about stamps, I was asked to watermark my commissioned pieces today so I had to. I tried making a signature stamp as well but I am not sure if it looks shoddy :/

You know when I tried to find one, I kinda ended up trying out stuff like that and when I realised what I was doing I stopped myself. I think a signature or insignia is a very personal thing and copying the style of someone else's (yours in this case) is a no-no for me.

REally?! Cant wait for you to post it! As for the BG, i dont really care much for BG's coz i myself dont do em. LOL. But you can do what others do and add a textured layer behind. Or you can do what i do and juz get a zoomed shot of the head, lower down the opacity to 30-40% and change the hue to some other color that suits the foreground.
