Description
*Click twice for full size*The M52/85 rifle was a Sediczjan rifle developed in the mid-19th century by Bojan Tumanowycz, a machinist from the Ljuwecky province of Sediczja. In its first incarnation as a single-action .56 calibre black powder rifle, the weapon was only adopted in limited numbers by the Sediczjan Imperial Army due to many factors, including both its unfamiliar layout and the then-common belief that having five rounds immediately available would lead to inaccurate and wasteful rapid fire by untrained troops.
However, the rifle enjoyed considerable success in the Corps of Border Protection and Customs; the weapon went on to become the standard issue rifle of border troops for many years due to its rapid fire rate, light weight and ease of use from horseback. In 1885, the weapon was updated to use new smokeless-powder .311 (7.92mm) cartridges and a double-action system. The most obvious external difference between the first and second models is the spurless hammer of the second model; the spur was removed and replaced with a protrusion on each side so that the weapon could still be half-cocked for loading and unloading.
The weapon was still in use by the time of the 1925 revolution and civil war, with most examples being destroyed or put in storage at war's end in 1927. A few dozen were deactivated and displayed as museum pieces, where they more recently saw use by various "urban guerrilla" anti-government groups after being stolen and reactivated to various effect.

Take of the stock and 3/4 of the barrel length and you've got yourself a true handcannon.

Hmmm, if you were to do with with a Nagant Revolver, wouldn't it be a lot safer considering the cylinder moves forward? Also the fact that it uses cartridges?

Probably.
Though this is both from a world where the Nagant doesn't necessarily exist, and from before it would've been designed anyway.

You made the Colt revolving rifle designed in 1855 effective.^^
No joke that was the worst rifle ever conceived, it had a habit of exploding in your hand or setting all the round's off at once.
Sexy, sexy gun.^^ and in my personal thought's one of the best gun's ever made besides the mauser c96.^^

Yeah, the Colt was partially what inspired me to make this; this is basically the same concept applied to an Adams revolver.
