Description
Two Cumulonimbus class cruisers of the Apparatus orbit an icy world on a routine patrol. At this point in the Apparati history, they have completely colonized and partly terraformed the world Tungsten Heart and integrated the natives- known as Planters in Apparati tongue. The Planters’ minute size and low food requirements make them ideal crewmen for starships on long voyages such as these two cruisers. At the time of this picture, many Apparati naval crews operate with Planters outnumbering the human components. The Cirrus patrol frigate Untold Conundrum was the first Apparati warship to be commanded by a Planter captain, an individual by the name of Faraway Sun.Related content

Tungsten Heart and Untold Conundrum both have this nice, badass, sorta retro scifi feel to them

Thanks! I do my best to give my creations names that are sufficiently unique and match my universe's aesthetic. Lately I have been working a lot more on the societal lore and all that more than biological stuff so you will likely see more of this kind of thing soon.

Honestly I just wing it. I never think of them when I am trying, it is always by accident. I wish I had some kind of good method for coming up with them consistently, then I'd be able to have a lot more things with cool names.

Yes, I suppose I should clarify that the world actually does have multiple names. Tungsten Heart is the official name given by the Apparatus once they begin integrating Planters.
