*EDIT* I realized that the orange highlights in Tree Hugger's dreadlocks didn't show up very well, so I made the necessary changes.

Tree Hugger was another great addition to the MLP character lineup, especially since Fluttershy finally has somepony who shares her love of nature and animals. The two of them do have some cute chemistry together and I'd be lying if I said I didn't ship them a little.

According to M.A. Larson, Tree Hugger was originally conceived as more of a Martha Stewart-esque character, instead of a stereotypical hippie. Personally, I like the end result, and Nicole Oliver absolutely slayed in the role.
