Agreed. If they really wanted to, they could have made the pilot episode a tear-jerker... Would have made it better imo, but I suppose they didn't want to depress little girls... Since they didn't expect the brony craze back then.

I would have been really shocked if the "Tear-jerker" Version actually got to me. Also I think Lauren herself said that she didn't expect the whole briny craze.
