Hello all! I'm throwing a small adoption event at HarlemMuleSociety 's First Annual Winter Gathering!

To help promote the Harlem Mule Society's first annual Winter Gathering we will be offering up four imports of various rarity up for art auction. We encourage people to bring along their own equines to join our show! We have halter, liberty, and an obstacle trail course.

Our imports will take the stage in the halter/liberty section of our arena after all of the classes take a close. Give us about an hour after classes to prep our meet n greet station for ya'll. To apply for these lovelies you will need to either draw your rider/handler interacting with them at the meet and greet station or draw the import at liberty in some winter/festive scene. Take extra care to glance at their stats, they might give you clues to these mules' personalities.

Some of these imports have mutations that aren't quite introduced yet. c;

Rules of the Adoption Event:

1. Entries must be full body.
2. Shading is not required, though those who go above and beyond (shading/bg/etc) will receive extra chances to win.
3. Handlers interacting boost your chances.
4. Entering the show boosts your chances as well.
5. Entering all classes at the show gives yet another boost.
6. Sharing the show journal or this post will earn a boost.

Please make note that ANY breed may enter HMS' Winter Gathering. This is event is about bring people together.

This is our basic set up for the meet and greet. A couple of our staff will be on hand and I'll see if I can whip up a temp ref for them to help.

Among these lucky recipients, three fortunate souls will discover randomly selected ultra-rare imports that promise to be the envy of the Harlem Mule world.Art and Literature Competition: For those who love to bring their creativity to life through art or writing, our event features a special competition. Draw or write about your mule's adventures during this grand reopening, and you could win the chance to claim one of our fabulous new imports.Open Show: Our showground is bustling with excitement! Equine enthusiasts of all breeds are invited to participate in our open show featuring three captivating classes:Halter: Showcase the beauty and elegance of your equine companion in the Halter class.Liberty: Let your horse's spirit shine as they move freely and gracefully in the Liberty class.Trail Obstacle Course: Test your horse's agility and skills in our thrilling Trail Obstacle Course.Exclusive Prizes for Harlem Mule Owners: For our dedicated Harlem Mule owners, there's a special treat in store. Any existing Harlem Mules that enter the show have the chance to earn custom imports! The more classes your mule participates in, the grander the prize:One Class: Earn a basic custom import.Two Classes: Elevate your custom import by adding a rarity trait of your choice.Three Classes: Go above and beyond by creating a custom import with a common colored rare coat type (Curly, Bald, or Poitou).General Prizes: These prizes are for those who do not own a Harlem Mule as of yet and just would like to mingle at the event and show off some of your current steeds as well as HMS members. Each class will have a 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and Judge's Choice (will be scored according to your other works in your gallery). 1st: Free custom Harlem Mule Import, Winner's headshot of your entered mount (by semper-n-aeternum), and 200 2nd: Winner's Headshot of your entered mount (by semper-n-aeternum) and 150 3rd: 80 Judge's Choice: Free Rare Harlem Mule ImportThe Winter Gathering will be open from Nov. 12th - Feb. 16th. For timeline sake, it is a winter event that happens in the beginning of December.This grand reopening event is not only a celebration of the Harlem Mule breed but also an opportunity for our creative and passionate members to shine. We can't wait to see your Harlem Mules in action, witness your artistic talents, and share in the joy of our vibrant community. Below is a link to the Harlem Mule Society Grounds. Halter and Liberty will be taking place in our indoor arena in the first half of the day.Trail Obstacle Course will take place in the indoor arena as well in the afternoon after our lunch break. Please note that this whole event is really relaxed. Obviously we will be following a show schedule, but everything is beginner friendly. This event will evolve into our annual get together event called the "Winter Gathering". We will be having bon fires in the evening and warm one pot meals (white chicken chili, beef roast, etc.). Extra images made of interactions between competitors are highly encouraged as well as collaborations between members! <3 As far as weather. We are right at the start of winter. So there is still a little fall color left, though we might be surprised with a light layer of snow, the kind that melts through the day. Let me know if you have any questions! Here is the trail course map. The only two things that aren't open to interpretation are the barrels are the crimson color of HMS and the last jump has a specific design that I am currently working on.
