I recently discovered that more than a decade has passed since I embarked on my digital illustration journey. Please ignore the less-than-appealing dA watermark—I borrowed it from one of my old accounts, haha. Reflecting on the progress, both Zipper and I have come a long way. If only I could locate his old reference image; that would make for a fantastic then-and-now comparison. The image from 2012 was likely crafted using either GIMP or an early version of Photoshop, while the one from 2023 was brought to life in Procreate. Perhaps, one day, my passion will evolve into my profession.
