I just have to ask: Are you using reference photos for the faces? Because somehow they all look different, despite your minimalistic drawing style. It's simply amazing. That's something I aim for, but am unable to do.
Other than that, great gallery and awesome work. I'd love to be able to draw like you one day. Keep up the great work!

Yes, I do use ref pictures ^^
I have an entire database filled with face claims which helps a lot
Truth be told, when I draw without ref, the portraits will usually be more slightly similar to each other, but the more refs you go through, the more you start experimenting with faces

I figured learning by doing would be the only way to learn drawing like this. It's truly awe-inspiring how much you can achieve with a few strokes of your pencil.
Do you have a photo database you can especially recommend or do you just browse Google or DA and see what you can find?
By the way, how many years did it take you to reach your current level? Just curious.

Honestly I can't really remember how long I've already been drawing
It's just grown really, constantly doodling, coloring etc etc

For refs: models.com is nice to find face claims
Tumblr helps with finding lesser known faces, or provides inspiration in general
flip zone is a website with literally all fashion shows and is great for if you don't know what your characters should wear
And then there's also just the people you see around you, no photoshop, real persons
The more you watch, the more you learn ^^

Omg i love their hair! Its gorgeous as usual! Holy cow though, i love the twist of hair you made, its done so well! I always have problems drawing twisted hair

Thanks! I dunno, I practice a lot during class on how to draw different hair thingies ^^
after a while it becomes kinda second nature I guess
