When Hermione stretched languorously and cracked her eyes open the next morning, the small guest bedroom was filled with light, and Severus still slept beside her, curled into a tight ball, hands clasped together as though in prayer and tucked under his chin. She would not tell him so, for it was sure to earn her a scowl at the very least, but he looked adorable.
