A drawing and drabble i did way back was just brought back to my attention ... compelling me to add to it ... this is a rough second helping to the first, i may find some more time to give it a bit more substance ...following up on MeasureForMeasure.

the tile is the toughest ... the kitchen after that ... we also had to add a new water filtration system to the well house and a french drain and that was 7,000.

I hate tile. I've installed tile in other peoples houses and my own and it's such a pain. Once you get going, it's not bad, but it's still not a job I like doing. Hope it;s going well. I've never heard of a French drain. What is that? It better be something good for $7,000! Yikes!
Maybe draw Severus hiding away in his lab away from the people renovating HIS house! LOL!

the whole house is getting the tile treatment, except for the bedrooms, i got tile in my room too though, i'll post some pics ~ its all still in progress so treat it with a kind eye.
the drain is a dug out heavy trench that runs from the well house down to the edge of the property, it has a massive culvert with holes in it, like a colander, that is covered with big gravel and topped with porous tiles, the Well guys called it a french drain, we are just going along with what they said hee hee hee, they also attached a new filtration system, osmosis something or other to the well pump, the water does seem better, its supposed to keep the calcium build up from attacking the fixtures anymore :}
Severus hiding hee hee hee sounds like a possibility.

Ooooooh! Okay! Now I know what you mean. That sounds like it should do a good job. I hope it works out and I can't wait to see the pics! I've done a few renovations over the years and know what you mean about work in progress. No worries. Excited to see the progress!

Yeah, I've had people ask us that, too. Sometimes it ends up taking longer than planned, especially if we run into plumbing or electrical we need to rerun or fix. Hopefully them being slow just means they're doing a good job and making sure everything is being done right.
