Oh neat! I saw this and was like: Oh! It's Edward Gorey meets VanGogh! Then I saw your comment and laughed. I had that just about spot on! I love this one! Although, I do not want to think about the tediousness of doing all those tiny little lines ...

Yeah ... a touch of Vincent goes a long way ... giggle ...
I must also confess ... those little lines are to me like popping those little plastic bubble wrap sheets ... first I fill in the area then I start to texture and shade ... thats the fun part ... yeah - I know ... Sempra is twisted ...

I don't know if you've answered this one yet but i was wondering which pen you used for your drawings? I'm really interested in pen and ink drawings lately and looking around for different pens and liners.
Again, i love your work

My weopon of choice is a 7mm mechanical pencil ...
this drawing was done with a Sharpie twin-tip / using the ultra fine tip ...

a Sharpie? Wow, i would have never known. I always thought they were completely done in ink. I like fine nib pens, like the G-tec hyperfine, great for cross hatching.
