XD My first entry of 2008
Finally done
There's probably a whole lot more a could do with this but I've been working on this for way too long now, I might make some changes later on though
The character known only as 'Lightning' in the new Final Fantasy XIII (apparently she has some sort of amnesia or something, so she doesn't know her real name )
Tetsuya Nomura was apparently asked to make 'a female version of Cloud' and he said 'she wasn't very feminine' O_o

the eyes are nicley done, very expressive. If I were you id work into the lips a little more to define them . its a nice well rounded piece though

hello there it's Kat from the happy adv. crit forum. I'm only going to crit this one since i asked people to only put one image per post, but you can submit the other anytime. first of all i would make the background very dark to help your character pop. Then i would arrange the hair into larger mass shapes and think about them ass masses not as individual strands. second i would not be afraid to draw her ear, ears are the most unique featuer on the human body oddly enough. Her features are good but i would shorten her nose and shorten her chin and bring the mouth up. Lastly don't forget the seem and its bumb on the shoulder it helps coats, jackets and sweaters not look painted on. here are some pieces that i hope may help you [link] [link] . Also take a look at the work of Hoang Nguyen i think you might really like it.
