I've wanted to draw Mighty wearing a flower crown for the longest time now. Maybe it's because I like drawing Mighty and cute girly things. In a way, I think the whole flower crown thing suits him. He does like nature, after all!
This piece has a springtime feel to it, which is sorta ironic since most of us are now entering fall. I'm a little sad about that. Not that I loathe autumn; it's actually a really beautiful time of year where I live, but I'm miss the nice warm weather and relaxing long days of sunshine.
I've been slowly working on this on and off for at least a week now. I wasn't entirely sure what direction I should take regarding some things; especially the background, and when I'm unsure of what to do, I tend to hold things off, heh. It's been a while since I put this amount of effort into something, it feels nice. 
Tools used: Paint Tool SAI, Adobe Photoshop 7, Wacom Bamboo Fun tablet.
Brushes used:

Mighty is stronger than Knuckles in some ways (smarter even!) but Mighty is surely much more innocent than Knux!!

Hehe, yep! Knuckles is a bit too rough and angry to be considered innocent, though perhaps he has his rare moments.

It's kinda sad how when it's summer, I want to draw winter-y things, then when it's winter, I crave to draw summer-y ideas. Aw well.

True, true! It looks like here I've captured one of his more softer sides, hehe. He may be extremely strong and may appear tough at times on the outside, but when it comes down to it, Mighty is very gentle and kind. I think that's one of my favorite things about him.

That is very true; the nice weather and sunshine will be back again next year. The thing I dread is that the fall/winter months tend to make me a little more gloomier in the mood department, I just hope that isn't the case this year!

It seems my cuteness is only growing stronger with each drawing that I finish. Pretty soon I will reach the maximum capacity of cuteness and will wipe away the entirety of the earth and life as we know it.

I think most everyone will miss summer-- except for the incredibly hot and unbearable days, those are never fun. It's sad, we just started September and yet I'm already thinking ahead to Christmas.
