~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Rules: Credit me in your deviantation and show a link back to this page if you make a portrait and it's uploaded to DA or FAZ, along with a tag of 'Sendri' on the deviantation so I can find who's using them. This includes using _parts_ of them, such as the skys or trees. Otherwise, whisper me on Furcadia on Sendra or Naida. Not for use besides furcadia portraits. Thanks!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Since someone decided to ask me about the source for these, they're from a large range of Public Domain sites. Snippet of what Public Domain is from wiki 'Works are in the public domain if they are not covered by intellectual property rights at all, if the intellectual property rights have expired, and/or if the intellectual property rights are forfeited." As for the ones I've used, the photographers have forfeited their rights, and the strange artsy remappable ones are ones made by artists who have died over 70 years ago or they are 120 years old after publication in a book when the original illustrator is unknown, therefore allowing the art to be released into the public domain.
File contains non-remap backgrounds with remap versions in each frame, remappable patterns, and my older non-remap backgrounds. Have fun.

AKA, the photographers put them online with the expressed consent for them to be in public domain, and have forfeited intellectual property rights.

Yeah but if you take someone elses picture, free or not and resize it(that doesn't make it your artwork) and then forbid people to use it anywhere else but in a certain place. I was just wondering...Wouldn't it be alright to put the pictures where-ever you want and nto credit you but link to the website where you got them from instead of giving you credit for someone elses photos? I just thought it was a lil silly to be demanding credits and limiting use and all for something that isn't really yours.

She took the time to swap these to Furcadia's colors, pixilate them and made them free to use with just asking to be linked back for credit. It's not a big deal. The photos were free use... You need to calm the fuck down and get a life. Or are you doing this due to nothing else to do? If so GTFO the computer k thanks.

While the people who release them in the public domain even want people to use them commercially, AKA want people to use them to get money without need to reference back to them? The reason I want to have them linked back is so more people can find them and use them. Besides, a few of these happen to be my own work from pixeling, and I've had to edit these and recolor quite a few so they go through to furcadia colors nicely. And I never claimed these photos were mine, Windfall. In lines of copyright, you have no ground since they are public domain. You're just plain hazing me on the fact you don't like that I want people to link back to the deviantation. Besides, when people give me 'credit' it's for bothering to go through and find proper photos that people can use without fear of copyright infringement to use in their portraits and taking the time to convert them to furcadia palette. I don't see you going through and bothering every person who goes through and edits free stock by simply turning it sepia[stuff that still has copyright on it, unlike public domain], and saying anyone who uses it must reference back to them. While I respect your artwork and who you are in the furcadian community, you're really ticking me off. Not only have I not broken any copyright laws, I did this simply so people could have backgrounds. And I'm NOT the first to do this.
