Description Impatient with myself, and wanting feedback.

I want to make the light on the right warmer, and the light on the left colder.

This is about 3/4 done, with 6 hours in it. Been doing a lot of experimentation.

Also, albino eyes are hard. Will probably make them darker.

I love the way you draw blood, It's so realistic, it really conveys "BLOOD" and I think his eyes are perfect! the scar is well done, and the background adds to the overall composition.

I am ever impressed with your work!

I kind of cheated with a Photoshop splatter brushes pack. But thanks, all the same. Maybe someday I'll go in and finish it, but now the piece is like.. five years old. So prolly not.
Thanks for your comments and faves, by the way. I see you're having fun.

Also, try to make the blood splatter a bit more realistic...You can tell it's PS brushes.

Maybe place a texture over it, mess with the layer blending styles. Also, experiment with the burn tool on it...make the edges of the spots a little darker, as if it has dried on a bit.

I think I'm starting over on this one in OpenCanvas. Photoshop is a lot rougher and more difficult to control. OpenCanvas is like having high-viscosity never-drying acrylic. And it's really smooth. Not to mention that it doesn't take ten frigging stupid minutes to open a file.

I love those shapely brushes. I think the ones in PS 7 are better, but I have 6. Boo hoo.

Who makes OpenCanvas?

The burshes work well, if you use them and make it not obvious that they were brushes in the first place.
Brushes get overused anymore.

I do agree. Brushes are overused.... excuse my badge of amazing hypocrisy. It's just too easy to use stamps instead of a paintbrush.

Not sure who makes open canvas. The file is only something like 1.5MB, so if you want it I can send it in an attachment. Open Canvas does not let you use shapley brushes. Only round ones.

I think the eyes need to go lighter. Albino eyes have a more light pink color to them.

Thanks. Someday I'm gonna come back and fix that coloring job. Oh well, it was a "free time" project anyway.

He's very very ugly for an elf. But a cute ork. Hrm.

I trhink it's done: I've no time at all to work on it, espcially now that I'm sharing my computer with a Star Wars Gallaxies addict.
Thanks.

Cloth is really hard to highlight. This one is giving me an aneurism.

Thanks, the background was pretty much flat gray when i started. Those brushes in the left bottom corner are part of a brush set I'm working on.

Wow, I like it as it it. If you change it too much you'll lose the impact her eyes have.

I think the eyes will remain as they are, except for the addition of a few more reflective spots...
His eyes. His.

Uh.. how many times you've posted this already O,o

Okay, use warmer colors, like little bit yellow to the whiteness and little bit blue to the cold area.
