A really old obsession of mine, Disney's Hercules. It had a delayed release in South Africa (video release only came out at the end of August 1998). And then I was hooked. It became my favourite thing. What got me the most was the villian isn't a typical Disney villian, this one held most of the jokes. Disney villians were so cool in the 90s (in exeption to Dr Facilier from Princess and the Frog, he's awesome too).
Before Hercules came out, I practically only drew animals, so I drew Megara, Hercules and found them hard. Then I drew Hades, lol. I found him fun and fairly easy to draw, so he's to blame he me starting to draw humans (though, he's a weird looking human, but fun none-the-less).
The other day, I found my old drawing books from1998 filled with Hercules drawings. The pictures are very LOL, but it brought back some very painful memories on what I was going through at the time. One drawing that fasinated me was --> [link] . (lol, it's BAD, but hey, I was only 11). And I figured: "You know, I should try re-draw it, this time digitally and colour it in."
I can remember making up stories in my head when I was sad then. And one of the was, what do Pain and Panic do to annoy Hades? And this was one of the many things I came up with. Roasting marshmellows with his fiery hair.

I used to have an awful exploding temper like Hades, but I've grown so emo lately, I mainly just get depressed now, and silent.

I'm not completely happy with it, but hey, it's just a memory that was re-newed. And will always be special to me.
