"Sssssay now... what have we hear?"

Simba hardly had the time when the hiss woke him up. His eyes cracked open and there was Kaa looking him in the eyes with his colorful gaze glowing right at him. The sight of a python normally would've set his feline instinct aflame but those eyes doused them before they could even be lit. Simba's eyes just opened wide and didn't blink once as they soon reflected Kaa's gaze, allowing the hypnosis to take on.

"It's a kitty cat. An adorable little kitten scared and alone."

Simba's mouth hung open while he lifted his upper body to sit up straight, not even groggy with such bliss filling his body. He soon forgot about Pumbaa below him or Timon by his right, the pair dead to the world in their slumber. Kaa's eyes made him feel so... good. The nightmares of losing his father, the guilt of enjoying his exile. Such dark thoughts evaporated before they could take root in his heart.

"But I'm here to help now. Just... trust in me."

Simba felt the coils slither around his body and pinning his fore arms to his torso but his blissed mind interpreted it as Kaa giving him a big hug, a hold to keep him shielded from the darkness of his thoughts. They tightened around his body for a solid grip and did make breathing a bit difficult but the lightheadedness only added to the hypnotic pleasure taking root. The coils lifted him up off of a Pumbaa while his lips slowly curled into a smile stretched from cheek to cheek.

"I shall tuck you away someplace safe where you will be happy for the rest of your life. Won't that be nice?"

Down below, Timon grumbled and tossed in his sleep. "Y'can hold it 'till tomorrow, kid. It won't kill ya." A fleeting moment where he might've woken up in time to raise the alarm but alas...

The next day, Timon and Pumbaa would wake up to find Simba had vanished. The couple rolled their eyes over what they thought was the kid going off on his own to wiz and getting into another scrape they'd have to bail him out. However, no matter how much they'd search the jungle from dawn to dusk... the kid was gone. Vanished. Disappeared. As if he had never existed to begin with.

Timon tried to keep up a cool front and swear that it was a big Jungle to get lost in but Pumbaa's falling face spoke for both of them. They'd continue to search but never bothered to look up where Kaa might've been resting. For a closer look would reveal a fairly sizable bulge that wasn't big enough for a deer... but small enough for a lion cub.

One who's body was still dissolving. However, strong hypnosis helped dull the pain and let his last moments be full of bliss. A sort of... consolation prize Kaa granted his younger victims. The ones he found cute anyways.
