When you said you were going to have a gordian knot in the emblem I thought you were talking about the other much more complicated looking kind! cdn-0.cut-the-knot.org/gifs/Go… This kind looks better though.
I'm glad this keeps the best bits of the previous emblem. ENIGMA's definitely a better sounding name than Hydraforce as well.
I can't actually think what the symbolism is referring to exactly off the top of my head. I guess I'll have to wait and see.

Naah, just a simple symbolic one. The kind of shape I had in mind (one with impossible geometry, if possible... which I came close to, but couldn't do without making hard angles) was hard enough in its simpler form. It actually took me close to 12 hours to get what you see here right.
I was initially thinking I'd have to completely re-draw that dragon, but I came to realize that it would be easier to modify the original. Luckily I kept its development files. The next overhaul is for the International Police Force organization that is mentioned in the upcoming chapters. Hell, I can't remember what exactly I called it. Either way, it's being renamed "International Peace Enforcement Organization" Or "IPEO" in short. I'm sure you know what that alludes to XP. I'm currently imagining a new emblem with a stylized design of the pokemon Braviary on it.
Hmmm... You might try digging through my weapon designs directory for hints. Looking back on it now, it's still a bit of an overhaul on the last established design. It won't be obvious, anyway

I have the Hydraforce emblem as an avatar on the forums for a gaming club I'm part of (with a link to the original of course), I might have to change it for this.
They were called the Federal Police Force or something I think, I remember they were first mentioned at around the part you're currently up to in the revision so you'll probably see it soon. Just looked up an image of a Braviary (it wasn't one of the ones I'm familiar with), that would definitely make a good and meaningful symbol for an international police/peacekeeping force.
And IPEO, not a clue what that could be a reference to!

IPEO seems to be first mentioned being spotted by ENIGMA nearby the Izanu Island base in chapters 19 & 20, and will show up in 21.
