god you could cut the tension with a plasteel knife..you, assault rifles and an albeit weakened centipede with a fire launcher, can you make those few shots count before it locks onto you and turn you into charcoal...or do you try and run find a better spot and hope it doesn't see you...

This is one of those pieces that at a glance makes me go meh, but at more careful inspection makes me go ooooooo, as I put two and two together about what is going on in the scene rather than just incorrectly taking it an abstract piece.

Nah, your palette fits the work. Reds and yellows are what the Rim are made of.

It's directed to my art in general. Most of my works make heavy use of red, yellow and really warm colors which isn't good for variety. But I just can't help using it.
