Can you see yourself in the reflection...A revistied version of Help.... [link] now in scraps, it was firstly just a quick piece reflecting my emotions at the time, and was very simple... as is this one, just touched up a few things.
If you see someone who you think needs help of any kind, try to lend a hand - it could make a world of difference

I love how the pose and the lighting convery a feeling of loneliness whilst the cold blue adds to the desperation. The figure you've used is superbe, I love this!

I like the simplicity of the piece. It's very nice and the cool colours are really calming. This is really lovely, well done, a stunning piece without being over poweringly wonderful

wow this is a very amazing piece. It speaks with so much emotion, its almost too much!
It's uncanny what you can do without the use of a face in terms of showing emotion. Great usage of lighting, and the background is just perfect.
I saw the scrapped version, and I have to say the placement of the limbs in this one is just perfect! The only thing that I think could make this piece better, would be to darken the border a little bit, maybe to one of those bluish-grey shades you have on the floor. Mainly because this is a darker piece, and the border is just a bit too bright for the theme, its a little distracting. But other than that, just perfect!

Thanks alot DarkPhyre, and yeah, my thoughts exactly on the border, I did play around a fair bit with diff colours and shades... just couldn't find the right one, white seemed to be a really good contrast and work better then others. Maybe i could use a darker colour border, and a light stroke

^^ you're very welcome. Yea I have that problem alot when I'm trying to come up with borders, its so wierd how much of an impact on the picture a border can have..hehe.
Might I suggest something? Just an example of how different a border could make it look: This border I think might accent the picture a bit more
You're right about the white being a good contrast tho, so a thin white line bordered by a darker color(which is a dark bluish grey fading to black) might work really well.

when i first saw it i laughed because it's one of those wooden dolls in a funny pose with a great title. but then i had a longer look and realised that it's actually really sad. so great work with toying with my emotions
