Introducing the second member of the high profile heist team, the muscle of the group, Steel Hide.

Before he joined the team, Alexandru was the former champion of the Blood Cage, the Blood Queen's underground fight club. Hailing from Constanta, Romania, he was one of her father's fighters in the fight clubs he established in Russia. When Jelina decided to move to the US to start her own fight club and crime ring, Alexandru was one of the fighters that was selected to accompany her, to help get her fight club up and running. Once the Blood Cage was established and Jelina began recruiting fighters, Alexandru soon found that he had a better chance of getting to the top against these "Weak Americans" then he would back in Russia. He was already a seasoned cage fighter, and he was the strongest of the fighters that accompanied Jelina. In the Blood Cage, he towered over his adversaries and pummeled them with fist encased in metal gloves, seriouslt injuring them, or even killing them, and the crowd, as well as Jelina, was loving the bloody spectacle. He even teased his opponents by allowing them a free punch at the start of the match, only to enjoy the looks on their faces when their punch did little harm. This earned him the nickname "Steel Hide", and it wasn't long before he became the champion of the Blood Cage. As champion, Alexandru enjoyed the perks that came with the title, money, influence in the organization, and the "admiration" of the lovely Jelina (if you catch my meaning). He remained champion for a few years before he was finally dethroned by the current champion of the Blood Cage, Rita "Ravage" in one of the most brutal fights the Blood Cage has ever had. A match like that normally would've ended in death, but Jelina did the one thing she rarely did, she ordered that his life be sparred. However, this was not an act of mercy or affection on her part, it was just good business. She saw how spectacular the match was, and how much the crowd loved it. Such an epic match deserves a rematch, and it would be a waste to have talent like Steel Hide killed off before another match can arranged. She ordered Alexandru to be cast out of the fight club and the organization, but not before telling him that if he wants back in, he needs to beat her new champion. Fueled by rage for this betrayal, Alexandru sought a way to get revenge upon the Blood Queen. Fortunately, he was soon contacted by the mysterious benefactor of the team, and was giving an offer he couldn't refuse. He stated that he could provide Alexandru with the means to get revenge upon Rita and the Blood Queen, if he agreed to work for this mysterious figure. Alexandru agrees and is sent to an undisclosed lab, where he was surgically injected with experimental nanotech, infusing themselves into his muscle tissue and making them as dense as hard as steel. Feeling much stronger than he ever was before, Alexandru felt he was ready to defeat Rita and get the revenge he so craved, but first, he must honor his agreement to his mysterious benefactor. As such, he has joined this new team of thieves, and is ready to smash anything, or anyone, that gets in their way.

To oversimplify, Steel Hide is your typical, super strong, super tough villain, the muscle, if you will. His role in the team is just as simple too, which is "removing" any obstacles that might hinder the job. Most of the time, the team has him either dealing with pesky security, or if there wasn't a back door, he simply made one. He's strong enough to lift well over 20 tons, and is capable of ripping the doors off of most safes with his bare hands. However, it's enhanced durability that really makes him one tough SOB. Due to the nanotech injected into him, his muscle tissue is as dense as steel, allowing him to shrug off an assortment of attacks, from blades to gunfire. Only catch to this, his skin could still be damaged like any other human skin, so while he may still bleed, his muscle armor protects his vital organs. This is why he wears a solid titanium mask on his head, protecting his more sensitive facial features, such as his eyes. Any damaged skin however is repaired by the nanites in his body, producing a very realistic synthetic skin. This does not make Steel Hide invincible however, when contending with someone as powerful as say, Crimson Glory, the muscle armor can only do so much. If he were to suffer internal damage from a high impact attack, his nanites could repair him, but it would take a longer process. In terms of strength level, he is about half as strong Bellona or Titan Beetle, but he is still a formidable foe to contend with.
