I’ve been wanting to make this scene for a while, so I had AceJoes create it, and as usual, he did not disappoint.

Even before Kevin became Apex, he struggled with anger issues due to his violent upbringing. After the procedure that gave him his abilities, his outbursts of anger became even more dangerous, to point where he could be consumed by animalistic rage if unchecked. As such, his teammate, Kala (aka. Aurora), took it upon herself to help improve his mental health, using her experience as a licensed high school counselor. With the exception of his sister, Kevin had never met anyone who was so kind and caring to him, and as such he began to open up to her, more than anyone else on the team, seeing her almost like a mother figure. In the cases where his anger gets the better of him, Aurora usually has the best chance to calm him down.
