Despite the incident with the hidden camera in the shower, resulting in Michelle nearly beating Mateo to death, the two of them are actually good friends, for the most part. On the field, the two work well together, combining their skills in martial arts to take down a number of foes. When off-duty, the two would find time to go out and have drinks together to relieve stress. Of course, Mateo still tries to get into Michelle's pants occasionally and as usual, Michelle enjoys cockblocking him and playing hard to get, at this point it's practically a game to them.
