Description
Here is another character I haven't drawn for a good while and thought it was time for a redesign, Voo'Han's most hated rival, Ro'Haas. For those who've never seen him before, Ro'Haas is a member of the alien race called Varanians, alongside Voo'Han. While they may be of the same race, that's all they have in common. Ro'Haas and his clan fought alongside the UGG, the alien invaders that conquered the varanian homeworld, and in exchange, his clan rose from lowly scavengers to high ranking officials in the UGG military and security ranks. Ro'Haas leads an elite squad comprised of some of the most deadliest alien species in the UGG called the Black Star. This unit performed black ops operations outside the normal chain of command, taking on missions that were necessary, but could damage the reputation of the UGG council.
Ro'Haas and Voo'Han share a strong hatred for each other, with Voo'Han seeing Ro'Haas as a traitor without honor, while Ro'Haas sees Voo'Han as brutish and narrowminded, unable to see the benefits of being part of the UGG, a classic debate between tradition and modernization.

Ro'Haas redesign is perhaps one of the most dramatic changes I've made in a character. His previous look was more like a lizard, similar to Voo'Han, but I decided to make him look more like a serpent for his new look, while still keeping his skin color. With his new look, he has a few new features that he didn't have before. For one he is far more flexible now and can use his long tail more effectively than Voo'Han. While Voo'Han uses his like a club to smash his opponents with, Ro'Haas can use his to coil around his opponent's neck and choke the life out of them. But, his most deadliest new feature is his new fangs, which deliver a powerful venom to anything or anyone he can sink his fangs into.
I'm really pleased with how this redesign turned out, and I'm looking forward to finally using him in the comic when his time comes.
