Getting herself ready back stage,I would say the ballerina is no stranger to being on pointe.Of course this situation would be totally impossible, but then again maybe not?
Done in PS7 and Illustrator.

There's a video on YT of a kiddie with an artificial limb trying to do ballet, the problem is that the limb is too long if she stands flat footed or not long enough if she stands en pointe. Maybe it needs to be something half way?

Wow, that is cool. I'm not sure about impossible, but it'd definitely be difficult, unless that artificial leg extends so that when she's on her tip-toes she won't be unbalanced. This is fascinating.
