Really nice job. Is that velvet? I was thinking of doing velvet for mine but I'm honestly worried about lint on such a dark fabric. Did you have any problems with yours?

What fabric did you use and can you find it online? I've looked eeeeverywhere for the right color. I'm using Arda-Wigs, too, by the way! I'm ordering a Glinda and some long wefts, dying them, and ~magic~. xD

Thank you, but I'm not quite happy with my Merida costume. I had to re-due it by making an actual 'under-dress' and re-duing the top dress cause the neck line is WAY too low for my liking T^T We'll see by A-kon (First Week of June) how it looks, hopefully you'll be more impressed

THE SLEEVES SUCK SO HARD!!! What's wrong with them? maybe I can help. I'm having problems with the chest piece getting too big and I'm re-due-ing the off white under neck piece... I think it's too low. I've seen you're Merida work on Cosplay.com so Jelly, it's turning out sooo good.

It's just, trying to get the proportions right to my arms I guess? Since I didn't do the under-dress I have to sew that, and her armbands together as one piece. So I started at the shoulder and am basically working my way down trying to get everything in the right place:I and because I thought the dress was a tad boring I've added a decorative stitch to all the cuffs and bands gsagfda.
Yeah I know what you mean about the chest piece, mine pops out a bit but I ironed a heavy stiffener to the inside and it's all good now
