Inspired by Cole's comments in-game - a more in-depth description can be found at my Tumblr entry for this piece here: sephirona.tumblr.com/post/1117…Originally this idea hit me as I was drawing another Cullen piece, and when it was decided that the Bioware forum's Cullen thread would celebrate its 5000th page with a theme of "Thanks for the Memories," I decided to finish and save this piece for the occasion.
I tried to pay attention to the background and also played around with lighting and color a bit based on how I usually color my Kingdom Hearts gif graphics. In the future, I'd like to be able to paint skin better and to be more knowledgeable about human anatomy. xP

Wonderful, truly wonderful. The style is both unique to you, yet somewhat reminiscent of the tarot card design Inquisition has. In fact, I could see something like this BEING Cullen's tarot card, as it truly captures his character. Uldred and Meredith representing his struggle between his fear of mages and the fear of losing himself to that fear, respectively, the blue chains binding him representing the lyrium he, as a Templar, was forced to take. This is amazing. I applaud you. If I didn't know any better, I'd think this was official art from BioWare, its that perfect.

Wow that is magnificent !!
The very well depicted struggle of choosing between the mages and the templars, both of them having their faces showing the perversion of each choice. And Cullen, being taken in the middle, wanting to side with Meredith due to his past with the mages, but being tempted to side with Orsino due to his will to redeem himself for what he's done and wanting to trust that not all mages are bad.

Actually, it's Uldred, he's the Blood-Mage who led the revolt in DAO and caused the Circle to collapse, he's the final boss of the Broken Circle Questline.
