Background idea from .hack// series.These are normal icons - they just have weird names like "_ _" and "__ _" to blend in with the background font. The Altimit spiral is animated - the original gif was made by Calico Stonewolf.

You can actually grab the longer portal animation by going to my profile and downloading the highspec flash file. afterwords, decompile it with sothinks swf decompiler and export the portal animation. (i belive its sprite 22) afterwords, get magicswf 2 avi and converrt the swf file to gif. (make sure you change all the background colors to white or else it wont work) once the file is in .gif format, you can do whatever you want with it. most likley, im going to decompile the entire flash and convert all the broken down animations to gifs or png senquences for higher quality.
sooner or later, im releasing an altimit os skin for windows. since project: ALTIMIT is not producing anything, and everyone seems to be sitting around im gonna do it. (eventually)

I'm the person who made the gif of the portal. They cheated on the animation for the japanese site when they made it, that's why it's so short.

Who is Calico Stonewolf? I've never seen anyone else use the StoneWolf name for as long as I've been using it.... (over 10 years) just curious.....
