Why is her drink behind her instead of next to her? I mean, yeah, she could spill it on the computer, but that seems risky putting it with the EVIL SCIENTIFIC FLUID beakers.

Why would she even keep a drink and a beaker of dangerous liquid on the same table... see this is why labs have a rule against any sort of food or drink inside them.
