I've seen fractals, but this is one of the most unusual and unique to make DD, ever. I love the complex, ever-repeating detail and texture in this piece. What I also love is that I can see the influence of both Apophysis and UF in this, and yet so seamlessly blended, I can't tell where Apo ended and UF began.
Your choice of the yellow and gold make this really stand out against its background, and it obviously is getting all the help it can.
I think this definitely deserved a DD--it's great to see a quality fractal really push the envelop of what a fractal "should" look like, just to challenge people's minds.
