Description
What is this? Fire Emblem fanart you say? Can't be!This picture was fun as hell to do. Black scribbles everywhere. And what you are seeing is, believe it or not, this picture cleaned up to the best of my ability. Somewhat influenced by one of my favorite artists, ~genesischant .
Photoshop, about 2 hours.

...Well, it was bound to happen sooner or later. Maybe Soren'll go find himself a branded girlfriend instead!

It's so beautiful. Except for the lack of limbs on Ike's part. D: Beautiful in a gorey sort of way.

OH GAWD. IKE'S ARM IS GONE.
This is really cool. <3

GAME OVER
the loss of the arm was just one of those things I threw in on a whim cause I had trouble drawing it but I think it helps the impact a little in retrospect.
Thanks <3

Personally I think the back and white works best XD If I made a colored version it will probably mostly be gray and brown I think XD

it probably...fell off the cliff or something. Good thing I don't own the game or else it would be chock-full of scenes where main characters get crippled and there's tons of angst.

*Dives down the cliff to retrieve Ike's arm.* TT^TT
I love you and hate you at the same time for all this angst. And damn, you're making me wanna finish RD really, really badly.

Now this pic just made me sad. D: B&W format really adds to the tragedy.
Actually, I didn't see who they were at first glance :S, but then I saw that book and familiar sword... and "OH. NICE KNOWING YOU IKE."

I'm glad you were saddened. It means I'm doing my job properly >:3
Ah yes... it is kind of dark and messy, but I'm glad how their faces turned out. They were the only thing that stayed relatively untouched throughout the whole drawing process. Whole drawing would have been ruined if I didn't get it right (which is still under debate!) Ahahha, glad the sword was recognizable. I didn't know if anyone would notice the book.

I'm so glad you like it. You have no idea how much this comment means to me. I'm less than a step away from framing it on my wall XD I love eliciting an emotional response from the viewer. Cute and happy is easy to do, but sad is harrrrd.
Thank you

Aww, hun. You're most welcome <3. Emotional responses are a lot better than just words, huh? I have to say, I'd like to hear that I brought tears, or even just an "aww" to someone, opposed to an "awesome" or "nice". It takes a good artist to get a "good job", but it takes a very skilled one to bring tears to a viewer's eyes.
...Whoops, I went on and on with myself again. WAHAH, sorry xD;!

I don't mind at all XD! And yes, they are. They're more truthful too. Compare:
Person 1: "This is a really good piece of writing."
Person 2: *gets an erection*
I apparently made someone hit themselves with excitement once. That was like, a milestone for me. This is the next milestone. Now the only thing I have to do is make someone orgasm on sight.

Hahah, wow xD! The physical reaction has always been better. I also kinda like speechlessness, too, for some reason or another xP.
Well, I'm sure you'll get there, one of these days. Motivation and determination have been my best friends in the world of writing, and I'm sure it probably isn't all that different in the artwork world, either xP.

Thanks! I think that if this was colored, it would also be with a grayish palette - but it also might make it too messy. But I like it the way it is. And it is easy to steal what little skills I have, just have no life and draw all the time.
