SpecificationDraw or write out your character trying to convince Jack to explain everything to you. Be careful though, he doesn't seem to be thinking straight! In fact, he looks like he's doing the exact opposite.

Example of how Jack would be, prior to you finding the photo: "Thank you for helping me out, I genuinely appreciate it. Do you want to stay for tea? I've found some really nice spearmint leaves earlier."

Example of how Jack would after finding out you saw his photo: "You nosy, sniveling brat, how dare you stick your nose where it doesn't belong! Now how about you get out of here before I fill your head with bullets, understood? THE GUARDIANS ARE NOT TO BE TRUSTED. THEY'RE MURDERERS, TRAITORS, LIARS!"
