I like this.... the yingyang of their oppositing hair and all the funfun of their personalities... and yet.... I think Jareth's nose could be better drawn

thanks and yeah the nose the hands were hard on jareth, I was drawing them upside down to avoid smudging the graphite.

2 tricks to avoid smudging... one art store sell cheep white cotton gloves ... 2 or you can just put a clean blank paper down to shield your hand

traditionally I've always worked with ink pen and brush and then the smudges were like accidental curses that I had to cope with when they did happen. I've been out of practice with normal graphite so it's like I'm re-learning how to trust the medium,

LOL. When I was in school I was anal retentive about it. I used to work with a crow quill and magnifier and that was it. Then I started painting and drawing more comic/anime style and I think I've managed to loose some of the precision I used to have. It's annoying because now it takes me forever to do an drawing it used to take me an hour or two to complete.
