Week 9 of my 52 Week Project: the promised birthday "cake". I made several cupcakes and tried my luck with two different types of cakepops. They are relatively easy to make and I had fun using all kind of different toppings - but it's time consuming .

I'm hungry now.

I choose this photo because I put a lot of thought into it. I tried several compositions and angles, considered the background and ambient lighting and paid close attention to the depth of field. During the photoshoot I already had the colour sheme in mind, which I later achieved through adding a coloured layer and adjusting the graduation curves. You could say this is one of the first photos I actively arranged from the beginning to the end.
