Adventure Time seems to be more an evolving story, rather than episodes in a set theme. So many changes have taken place,...
Fiona and Cake are doubly removed from reality, in that they are fan-FICTION within the fiction of Adventure Time, written by the IceKing.
Also, retcons of characters have shaken me. (such as jake being the spawn of a weird extradimensional monster and Joshua ,and his shape-changing power due to that hybrid nature, rather than the work of a magic mudpuddle) and I've drifted away...
