ATC done for #ATC-Exchange 's February ExchangeThis is for =sherega , her character Nathaniel and some little friends, who seem to enjoy his strange hat XD
This is my first artist trading card ever, and I must say, I'm quite disappointed both by this awful scan and the fact that I'm not able to put colours in it =__=... I hope =sherega will like it however >.<'

Oh my home-spirit! : D He truly is Nathaniel!! I happened to see this (and fav) even before realizing that he truly was Nathaniel. I was then in such of a hurry that I even didn't have time to concentrate on it properly... so I came back later - some persistent bells constantly ringing that he and the birds looked far too familiar. See, I've never seen him to be drawn this realistically by anyone else before! n____n"
And then I had to take a day before answering or otherwise I would have begun to meander and some great radomness would have stepped in. I really love that hat and his expression and his hair and the way you pictured the details of the birds. (Personally I've been having so lazy approach to them, just drawn a group of balls and coloured them with grey and some red. Interesting to see them having some feathers, even. xD ) And that little note there is simply amusing detail! I really, really love this picture. <3 Thank you so much. I hope he didn't cause you too much trouble, though. He tends to have that effect on other people at times. ": D
...One thing I've been throughly pondering, though. That is just that is that hat really filled with birds? : O

n___n Agh. I'm always procrastinating... Sorry for these late replies. At least I've been making sure that I'll be in time with my own part for the exchange if nothing else. ": ) The least I can do after getting such a brilliant ATC by myself. Because, as I already mentioned, I really adore it. At times I just manage to be rather... silly with all these things. n___n"
Aww. I had you on my list too. (Because sadly I'm not - at least yet - returning your favor by myself. It would have been a pleasure. I think I can reveal this far... : S ) I really like your characters too. Especially Catalessi gets my sympathy. : D Haha. Now Ophiopogon should be feeling pretty flattered. Poor him, isn't even having a proper portrait in my gallery. ( Though he can only blame himself. He gets frustrated even by a thought of spending time on sitting still - just to be copied on paper. :" P)
There is pretty full then. xD At least I find it funny? People who don't get it are having a sense of humor of a peculiar one... : ) Hope the birds get at least some sort of a record fulfilled...
