Aaaaand... the third one, this time about my little beast, Thadras

Since I noticed he tends to be misunderstood a lot, I decided to add some specific info myself, in order to try and give a clearer view of the character... o.o I hope it works....

I'd like to start saying that when thinking about Thadras you should think about an "animal" (literally) more than a "human"... he's not a human male with the ability of shapeshifitng into a dragon, he's a male fire dragon with the ability to shapeshift into human form, and even being definitely sharp-witted, he is mostly violence inclined and leaded by his feral instincts in almost anything he does...
He wears his earring (it's a woman bracelet actually) since he was very little... he saw that his mother was always wearing things like that, and wanted to do the same XD so she modified that bracelet for him since he seemed to like it a lot
The mark on his chest is the Narcatlos mark. It's a scar that distinguish the five High Generals of the dragon army (The Narcatlos' Claws), and it's carved with a ritual knife that causes wounds that even a dragon can't heal properly, thus leaving a scar. It's a badge of power among his race
About his family.. let's see... he killed his father because it's the only way a male fire dragon has to be accepted in the society... he has a mother, and you can see her here [link] ... and he also has a sister and two daughters, all of them actually alive... you can read a little more about the fire dragon family here -> [link]
An excerpt from a note about Thadras and Messirama: They're not really a couple, at least not in the sentimental meaning of the word... they're a "couple" only when they're in a bed (her bed mostly)...
She first approached Thadras because she intended to use him for one of her (objectionable) purposes, and since then she keeps "using" him when she feels like needing some... uhm... entertainment u__ù
Messirama is actually the first woman who managed to "tame" him (in the most physical meaning of the term :°D) so, when he's near her, Thadras tends to be rather submissive, as he recognize her being much stronger than him... he still keeps a lot of his hot behaviour though (that's what Messirama likes the most about him)...
Even though she never ever admitted to have some feelings about him at all, she tend to be extremely jealous and possessive, as he was her.. personal toy XD...
He doesn't have to care about venereal disease because dragons are immune to all the kind of illness/infection/disease humans are subject to... maybe he could be a healthy carrier but it's VERY improbable XD
As for the disease, being a dragon makes him also immune to allergies... dragons are creatures who share a deep bound with the earth, they can't possibly be allergic to something they're so close to..
About his behaviour, I must say he's kinda young for his race, so he's... well, he IS a brat, actually XD...
Male fire dragons rarely gets an education from their mothers before being accepted in the society, since they're most probably going to die in the fight for their "place in the world" against their father... So, their training starts only after surviving to this "initiation ritual"... Too bad Thadras, due to an imminent war against the elring (another race of dragons), was enlisted in the vroomak army shortly after his debut in the dragon society, thus making him "skip" the education part u__u... when he came back, he was even more restless than before and his mother had to give up on teaching him anything...
I wasn't inspired by anyone when creating his character
In Animae, dragons are not really the D&D stereotype, so he really doesn't live in a cave full of gold and jewels :°D... he has a big house carved in the stone, it was his father property and he got it after his death... he doesn't spend so much time in it though...
I consider Thadras an antagonist because he pursues an "evil" intent, but actually his evil intent is something that doesn't clash at all with Rhistel's interest, so the boy doesn't have any kind of problem with him... except maybe the fact that he's noisy, smells bad and has a strange interest for Elyon XD
Thadras met Balefar because he was *forced* to work with him by his Elders. They get along very well, Thadras is extremely friendly with the vudash, he's curious about him (being Balefar a spirit and such) and he's always dragging him around trying to make him familiarize with the life on the earth... Balefar, in the other hand, having no ideas of what feelings are and being more interested in his mission, can't really understand Thadras' behaviour and simply accept him as he is... He eventually ends up being almost fond of the young dragon. They can be considered very good friends in the end
Cold has various effects on a fire dragon like Thadras, mostly depending on how he's hit by it... an icy weapon could inflict wounds that won't regenerate as the other, unless medicated with healing spells, and can make serious damages being able to break through the natural armor the other weapons can't cut. Also, just being in a cold place for some time makes him weaker and weaker, making him lose his strength and magic powers, and at worst his very life.
Aside from his fire powers (which are just like Elyon's, with the only difference that he can control them very well XD), the magic he has includes so many things it's almost impossible for me to list all the stuff he could do... He doesn't use magic so much though, and he's not even well trained in it, so... meh!
There's a social protocol that determines dragons relations, too bad that, being him a brat, he really doesn't care about it XD... He's one of the five High Generals though, so the other dragons have to "respect" him... at least in appearance, since they consider him a stupid child with too much power and no clues on what to do with it...
Whenever I say he has "no shame" I refer to the fact that he doesn't care about nakedness like humans do... he doesn't have any taboo about body parts and sometimes he doesn't even thinks about bodies as a "sexual objects", so, if everyone suddenly started going around naked he wouldn't care a bit I suppose XD...
He enjoys and is often looking for physical contact when interacting with other people, may it be just in order to threaten an enemy or as a gesture to show affection... that means he's more inclined to seize someone by the throat instead of simply punching them, or to hold someone in a "hug" instead of patting them on the shoulder.... comes without saying that he's more accustomed to threatening than showing affection (but yes, he's mostly the cuddling type, even if only with people he really trusts... just like a dog, I suppose u_ù..)
He spends the most of his time in his human form, being it smaller and more practical... he loves to sleep in his dragon form though, and also uses it when he has to to cover long distances, since he can fly at high speed
He doesn't care about colours, but if I had to chose for him... it would be red?
He doesn't have any favourite place he likes to spend his time in... he mostly wander around human cities and tavern to kill the time...
He really likes Elyon, at first because of her look... she's just like his favourite kind of girls: small, thin and light haired... also he thinks she has a good smell, a soft skin and that she tastes very good u_u... then, being prevented from eating or raping her, he finally became accustomed to the girl... and being her always extremely friendly even with him (and being Thadras the kind of guy who reacts to people depending on how they treat him), he ended up liking her even more...
Fire dragons' eggs tend to hatch during the warm seasons and he's born in July, the 27th... he would be Lion if they had zodiacal signs
His full name is Thadras-de (no surname, only females has one)... Calling him only Thadras is just like using a diminutive (as in "Beth" for Elisabeth for example), and of course it's much more informal... he really doesn't care if people calls him in one way or another though
Being him a creature of the earth, he feels kinda uncomfortable being near a not-so-natural creature (like could be a "demon" or any "extra-planar" spirit), because energies that come from other "planes" can really hurt him just like cold can... also he tends to not trust sorcerers very much (for the same reason actually: sorcerers with their magic are a threat to him)...
Under specific circumstances he could sincerely cry, definitely... he never does just because he usually doesn't have any reason to indulge in despair...
He laughs a lot, for everything he finds funny (and he finds funny a lot of things)... Balefar makes him laugh with his strange behaviour, women make him laugh when they cry or scream in fear, humans make him laugh when they thinks they can compete with him, and then make him laugh when they try to run away >_>... see, he laughs for a lot of things u___ù...
He became one of the five Narcatlos' Claws after killing one of them... it was an "incident" though, he didn't even know who that guy was (lol, clueless brat X°D)...
now, vroomakish laws says that any kind of chair can be challenged in a duel... despite this, dragons really don't spend their life trying to kill each other, especially elder ones, and chairs tend to be very statical, so, when Thadras killed one of the Claws, the other Elders were shocked and indignant... too bad everything happened during one of the battles in the Great War, under everyone's eyes... Thadras was hailed by all the soldiers as the new general (while he was looking like "WTH?" o.o)... the Elders had to wait at least the end of the battle to try and do something about it... they decided to let him be the general for the rest of the war, hoping he would get killed, but it didn't happen... Then, when the war ended, seeing they were victorious, they decided to let him be...
A long period of peace ensued, and as the time passed, everyone stopped caring about him at all... and now he's still one of the Claws >_>..
He simply loves water, swimming and everything related... too bad water is usually too cold for him, especially when he's in his human form, so he can only enjoy splashing around in places with hot springs
He doesn't gravitate toward hot things, even though he surely enjoys the contact with something that share his same temperature
Dragons talk their own language and then usually learn all the others as the time passes... Thadras speaks the dragon language of course, and learnt the common human language by himself (proving he's able to do something when he wants :°D)... he doesn't know any other language though
