Why do I keep doing this to myself?I haven't the faintest idea.
You think I'd learn to not do these pain-in-the-butt vectors anymore. But no, I have to do them. Because my brain won't let me not do it.

I do prefer the library to be honest though a lot of that is because I dislike the concept of Twilight Sparkle as a Princess. Honestly even though I haven't seen the episode (I have read the wikia so I know the basic plot), I see no reason for the castle to exist. To be blunt, it makes me like the concept of Princess Twilight even less because now she's just like the others. Why did she need to lose her home? Was the treehouse really holding back her ability to be an effective leader? Nope. The treehouse seemed cozier and more like a home plus it fit Twilight's personality perfectly. The castle looks like it belongs in The Crystal Empire and has none of the warmth that Golden Oaks had. Also why wasn't the treehouse rebuilt after Tirek was defeated? When The Elements of Harmony defeated Discord, all of the damage he did was undone so why was the treehouse not given the same treatment? I really wish they'd rebuild the treehouse (I haven't even seen fanfiction of it happening much to my shock) but of course Twilight has to be a Princess and has to be exactly like the others. I can understand Twilight being a Princess even if I don't like it. I can understand her becoming an alicorn even if I find it pointless. But there was no reason for Golden Oaks to be destroyed. Yeah there's the Cutie Map in Season 5 but the same thing could have been done with a *insert magical item here* so the castle is really a plot device. Maybe in a future episode Twilight will do something amazing or whatever and as repayment, Celestia rebuilds the treehouse or something. My rant aside you did a good job on this picture and I agree that the library is better.

Well, Rainbow Rocks proves that there IS a library(and it's just as big as Golden Oaks, if not bigger) in the castle(in fact, there's a MAJOR scene that takes place in there)...
...but good news: The animators said that Twilight really misses Golden Oaks, and there'll be an entire S5 episode devoted to it(just like they said).
