Here's a coloured version of a sketch I threw together in the spring. I liked the style of them so I thought I'd paint it. It's kind of a strange blend of american comic and realism, but I think it's funky.There was a PC game i played as a child that had interesting almost cabagepatch style character faces to it, some farm game, and ChibiUsa is kinda based on that.
Just something fun to break my nonsubmitting funk lol.

lol never even tried to tie anything together, placement was jsut whomever came out, and since I ended up doing Minako and Hotaru, figured I'd better throw both of their best friends in the bottom half.

I love Minako and chibiusa's hair, it looks like a very different style to their normal, it's very adultish and nice, I love it

At first I thought Hotaru was Rei, but then I noticed the ear rings and the soft expression and went "Naaaaaaah" hehe.
This style really suits these characters in their own ways.
