One of the major benefits of being able to wander through multiple worlds is the incredible number of sights you see. It's like walking straight through a fantasy show, and in your case...well, I'll let Maya explain that another time.

But what I can tell you now is that those alternate worlds are filled with people that you might find familiar, including yourself! Because we live outside of any specific universe, Maya and I also have the ability to make copies of any local versions of ourselves we happen across. We call these copies "alters" for short, and it's a great way to improve your skillset; it's almost like copying and downloading the memories of a whole other life of yours, plus getting to use a smattering of the extra ethereal powers they might have. When done right it's quick and painless too, although very disorienting the first few times you do it. And once you're familiar enough with the extra memories, you actually can transform into that copy too! It's great for a quick costume change, but also makes it much easier to use their full extra power.

So here's a little taste of a few of Maya and my alters, just as a little demonstration. I figured I'd show everyone this so less people get confused why it seems we have all manner of crazy skills, despite being fully mortal.

And just because they're very small, here is a little zoom in on the two of us with each other's fairy forms; those are really handy for getting around quick, since unfortunately their ability to fly doesn't transfer at all to our base forms.
