Ahh... Yet another interesting artwork. I love the shading and colouring, but don't you think she looks a tad to skinny? The design was well done. Overall, great work, but there is room for improvement.

Thank you. She doesn't look all that skinny to me, but yoko has a hourlass figure so shes not entirely skinny but if her hair was not in the way i would have shown more of the curve going to her waist.

If you're not used to pencils, keep using them anyway, it helps.
I've never used the prisma colour pencils, so I have no idea about how soft they are or how sharp you're able to get them, but basically, the best pencil is a medium softness, not too soft, but hard enough to sharpen it to a good point.
Make sure the pencil is ALWAYS sharp so that you can get clean lines, and use layering of pencils to create darker colours, never press too hard!
I could do with investing in some decent pencils to be honest...

Hmm, yeah ive seen many peoples work and it has nice shading and ive been trying for awhile but the prismacolor are medium i think. I will keep working with them.Thank you for the advice.
Oh and they sell prismacolor pencils for like $24 for a box of 12. Its really pricey.

It is good using the graphite and all but ive always wanted to explore what art i could create in color and poof i draw what i draw..it looks japanese and all but i can draw other styles.

I'm better at my own style and I'm slowly getting better at close to photographic style drawing.
I've never been good with using colour in my work, they made us do it at school and it always looked horrible XD

True, but I feel that things like photographs look so much better in black and white, especially special moments or interesting scenes. I also like muted colours, hazy scenes. They're pretty =3

Very lovely. you are very good at using colored pencils, for someone who is so annoyed by them. i commend you for using blue to do some shading instead of just a darker version of the same color. a lot of artists are afraid to do that.
i think the results are very nice. and i agree-- the eyes look amazing.

Color pencils can be seriously aggravating..i tend to have a bit of a loss of patience when it comes to them. And they lie, they tell me prismacolor are better but they color the same way crayola do.
