Description
Adopted from:Which is Hawaiian for "Queen of the Sea"
Aliikai is a energetic young female that makes her home around the Hawaiian Islands. She lost her mother at a young age due to illness. though she was old enough to fend for herself she couldn't emotionally handle being by herself. She soon stumbled into the path of an old Bull Sperm Whale and was almost killed but oddly enough they became "friends" Neptune managed to teach her the way to survive and managed to break her out of her shell. Being curious and energetic again she would wander about looking for new things to explore, meet, and have overall fun. Often driving Neptune nuts when he's not hunting for food in the depths.
I had to use a reference I am so out of practice drawing animals especially whales.

I am glad you think so. I was quite surprised I was able to pull off an orca after drawing airplanes so much

Certainly! But of course you do very well on the airplanes as well, if only airplanes where made in Your vision

Even if you consider this out of practice, it's not half bad. And I quite like the little backstory you wrote for her.
Thanks again for adopting.

You certainly nailed all of her markings correctly. I see one or two errors in regard to anatomy, but I won't nitpick unless you'd like me to.
I definitely be interested in seeing you draw her, and Neptune, again.

I don't mind you pointing out the anatomy errors.

What I see off is fairly parallel with this tutorial I like to share: [link]
Her head seems a little big for her body. Orcas, having a torpedo-like form, are slightly thicker around the middle.
Her pectoral fin could be nudged a bit further forward, so that the base sits below the trailing end of her eyepatch.
Her dorsal fin/saddepatch should be sitting just a little further back, so that her flank marking sits below and behind (what I call) the 'midbody point'.
Not saying you have to follow this advice to the tee, but feel free to ask questions if you ever need help/advise with regard to future pics.

My Internet connection's been acting glitchy all day. Must've had to restart PDAnet three times before it finally smoothed out.
