This is so beautiful. I really love it, it also reminds me of the Nexus portal from Assassin's Creed: Revelations but with a fantasy/magic twist. Amazing work, I love it.

I feel possessed to say after looking through your entire Deviant gallery, you have a beautiful mind and art style. I just want you to know that just today I realized I have a spark for artistic landscape and dark ominous images and will be attempting my hand at this kind of thing. I love it how, in small view, it looks really rough and then you zoom in and all the details just blew me away! It's a bit like a "can you spot all the people in this picture?" puzzles. I'm seeing five and my eyes keep playing tricks on me about a sixth!

AAaaaaand cue the evil black dragons swirling around it like vultures, and the evil black sorcerer being all ominous and stuff while the hero, badly wounded, lies bleeding at his feet.
Don't forget the creepy music.
