Thanks for the parameter, which I've just tested.

Nice tweak and details! It's definitely not suitable for reflections at any settings (I tried to no avail too with depth at 2 and refractice index at 1). All interesting detail is lost and too burned out looking down at the image. Very messy. Even without reflections, had to lower the intensity of global light 1 several points and positional 4 a couple points. Also tried better render quality settings, which made not much difference.

I would try something different particularly with global 1.

Considering what I saw at bird's glance view in your gallery, I'm more than sure you'll turn the image into something quite awesome, in case you still want to pusue it. You are very talented!
