This research probe and others were supposed to measure the pollution degree of our seas. It's still transmitting data but there's no one alive to collect it...

And this is great!! It's also a great way for people from other countries to see what is happening in yours...or at least where you live. Not always does the media give the best coverage...usually it leans to one side or the other depending on the station. ( politics)... which is great just hearing from the average citizen of a country!

You are so right! The massive media respond or belong to interested parties (here we call it concentrated firepower). Politicians are just kind of branch managers to these interests. It's so hard to find reliable sources, fortunately some still remain.Β 
It's nice that citizens of diffferent countries can share first hand information with others. Art is a form of expression that can go well beyond an image.
