Description
I was wanting to practice drawing more in EncryptedOS 's style for The Central Network, so I came up with these two. Also wanted to draw some non-viruses, so that's a bonus. Did the background myself, in case you couldn't tell. Night is slowly approaching, hence the "stars" being out.

The tall, tubular dude is the Internet Browser, In-Bro. A particularly tall person for a program, but considering how important access to the internet is for most computers, that's probably why. He's a particularly fun-loving guy who takes very little seriously, he simply laughs off crashes and is pretty fun to hang around. In-Bro's jubilicious and personable nature allows for him to recruit programs from the internet and bring them back. Unfortunately for the Network, his generosity and willingness to help others sometimes leads to him bringing back viruses and is the primary way viruses find their way to the network. It's not something he's proud of, but he's not too hard on himself. It is sadly, a very real risk of the job. Other internet browsers traverse the open internet with other kinds of vessels, but In-Bro favors a surfboard. His surfboard is not only directly slowed down or sped up by the signal strength of the wi-fi or ethernet as well as traffic, but his surfboard is like a clown car in that it is bigger on top of it that off of it, if that makes any sense. Which allows some Antiviruses to accompany him on his treks to the deeper, less trustworthy recesses of the internet.

His newly found buddy is Addie, an Ad-Blocker he picked up from Addie's home(page) who really enjoys taking his job as seriously as possible. Due to him being an extension of a program, he is very small. He likens himself to being like an antivirus for ads, (and to be fair, a lot of viruses use ads to trick In-Bro to let them on board.) But Addie is more preventative than combative, and wouldn't be able to take a virus on by himself. Addie uses his paddle to squash ads on the sites that In-Bro visits before he gets the chance to see them. Unfortunately, Addie's ad-blocking is a double-edged sword: his blocking of ads keeps the network a little bit safer and keeps In-Bro distraction-free, but some sites they visit will jeer and berate Addie for cutting off some revenue. He tries to not let it bother him, but it chips away at him whether he knows it or not.

Depending on the browser, each browser may be completely alone in their journeys or swarmed with a posse of extensions. In-Bro has other extensions, but they're not active participants in his browsing sessions. He just mainly surfs the web with his lil' pal Addie and they're pretty content. That's all he really needs.

This was fun to do, and I might draw more of these guys. I'm not sure.
