It is hard to quantify exactly... there was a lot of work that went into it that was not physically handling the piece.  I would say it took me a good 30 hours or so of actual labor.  That said, I think I could reproduce it in less time now that I've done it once.

It's based on a simple paper art fold and constructed of various weight paper and paperboard.  The electronics inside are re-purposed from a dollar store led candle.  The finish is a combination of glue and mod podge.  Thanks for the fave!
