Fanart of Kallen and the Guren Nishiki from Code Geass, one of the new mecha anime this season and provided they keep up the pace will definitely be amongst my all-time favourite series.Colored with Copic Markers, Background and touch-ups in photoshop.
In another note, Happy new year, everyone. I hope you all had a great 2006 and that 2007 will be even better.
Except if you're an English cricket fan, in which case 2007 is looking rather grim and miserable indeed. The Ashes is back where it belongs, after an abundance of the famed England batting collapse this summer. Let's hope they do better in the one-dayers, and that the fifth Test tomorrow would be a contest and not another ritual slaughter.

The text was photoshopped, yes. As for copic markers, I bought them at an art shop.

O___O wow, for a second I thought that was done in oil pastels. XD; Amazing job with the colouring and the dynamic looking mecha! You're getting really good with those copics. They seem to be blending in a whole lot better. =]

How is it that you can go on with your daily life and still keep up with anime series? D=

thanks, and I dunno, I guess I just don't really watch much TV. I only watch anime for less than 1 hour/day, which I think most people would spend in front of the telly anyway. There's only around 6-8 series I'm following , so even with other extras that's only 1-2 episodes per day at 20 minutes/episode.
As for the copics, these days I probably don't use them as often as I should (once or twice every.... year?)
