Darby finds the king of the leprechauns and is granted three wishes. These wishes force him to think about what he wants and he ends up going through hell and back. He uses the last wish to save his daughter from Death and the king follows him to the hereafter. He accidently makes a "fourth" wish by saying that he too wished the king was going with him which allowed him to be sent back to Earth, a bit wiser.
